School Story
Well, I got married to a wonderful man in 1971. I was blessed to have two children and then things took a turn for the worst. I suffered a massive stroke at the age of 32. That happened June 27, 1980. That same year I had to have emergency surgery on my gallbladder, if that wasn’t enough I had two brain surgeries in 1981. I had to have a shunt inserted in my brain due to a condition called hydrocephalus (water on the brain)My husband was my rock and helped me through my crisis and though still disabled a miracle happened and I gave birth to my third child in 1983, that is also when it was discovered I had MS as well. Despite everything I managed with a lot of help.
Then tragedy came in 1987 when my husband dropped dead at work of a massive cerebral hemorrhage. My world was shattered. Being disabled how was I going to handle a 3 yr old and 8 yr old and a 10 yr old by myself? I had nobody but was determined to raise my family? Somehow I did.that is when I met my soulmate Michael. We went to travel agent school and we traveled quite a bit. We decided to be forever soulmates on May 9, 1998. We celebrated that as our anniversary. We were together 16 years when he started complaining of pains, that was Aug 10, 2014, oct. 21, 2014 the angels took him. Mike was 8 yrs younger but that didn’t matter.
My point is this, life is short, my husband died at 40, Michael was 58. Take advantage of life. Live life to the fullest and always look for brighter tomorrows! I have 4 grandchildren right now and they complete me. To Love life is to live it, to live life is to love it!
I have 4 grandchildren now and they all live in TX. My oldest granddaughter graduates high school in 2020! Wow!
I would love to connect to some classmates again!
