HHS CLASS OF 1963 45TH REUNION
Dear Classmates,
A date has been set for our 45th reunion. It will be
held the weekend of September 19th and 20th, 2008. We
had such a good time at the Bilmar Beach Resort on
Treasure Island that we are holding the reunion there
once again. Please set this date aside. Email will be
the only type of communication that will be used for
reunions from this time forward. Mailings will no longer
be done. It is important that you contact your school
friends and let them know the dates for the reunion.
Keep in touch with them as much as possible. Please give
them my email address so I will be able to correspond
directly with them.
Plans at this point are very preliminary... The prices
on our Group Sales Agreement list the basic room
starting at $126.00 a night. From there it goes from
$143.00 to $160.00. There is one suite with a living
room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms that goes for $230.00. The
suite will easily hold /sleep 5-6 people; a great deal
for a small group of classmates. The resort has set
aside a block of rooms for us. For those wanting
reservations now, call the Bilmar at -866-302-7534 and
identify yourself as a member of the Hialeah High School
Class of '63 Reunion. For those needing a mailing

Roger Browning will again be in charge of the
Hospitality Suite. He did an outstanding job last
reunion and I was so pleased he was so gracious about
helping once again. The room we will be using is located
on the first floor of the resort. It opens to the pool
and to the beach area.
Sandra Baggett Cooney has volunteered to do the name
tags. I am going to copy the pictures in the yearbook
for her this week. She lives in Maintland, FL, so if you
want to help her she can be reached at scooney@goodshepherd.org
Think about music for the reunion. With today's
technology, I am sure there is something available that
can be used at this reunion. I won't use the "one man
band" again. That really turned out terrible.
